Nokia in New Content Ties

Nokia is now bringing a wide range of high-quality mobile videos to compatible Nokia N95 handsets through the Nokia Video Center.

The company has announced content tie-ups with CNN, Jamba, IBN, Sony Pictures, RooftopComedy, ROK, and Versaly Entertainment for content for the Nokia Video Center.

The Nokia Video Center is available only on the N95 and the N95 8GB version, and provides users access to mobile video content via 3G, WiFi, or PC.

Users can switch between a range of video services, choosing from branded on-demand video, Internet video podcasts, and other favorite forms.

Nokia's content partners will join the existing ranks of Reuters and Google's YouTube, and along with them, will appear in the main menu of the Nokia Video Center.

Meanwhile, the content on offer from various partners includes: CNN international news coverage, and IBN News; free music videos and cartoons from Jamba; movie trailers (current and upcoming), and games from Sony Pictures; stand-up comedy clips from Rooftop Comedy; male lifestyle programs from Versaly Entertainment; etc.

As of now, the service is available only in the APAC (Asia-Pacific) region.
